Digital photographs taken during journeys through Berlin and London were animated to make this video for the electronic music track produced by Igor Hax. The original photographic material was in colour, but the process of desaturating underlined the characteristics of animated light drawings.

Markus Soukup is a media, video & sound artist living and working in London since 2012.
He studied at the Academy of Arts Leipzig in the class of Prof. Astrid Klein (MFA 2005). He received his MA in New Media Production from ICDC Liverpool JMU in 2004.His work has been shown in local, national and international exhibitions and festivals.
