This project offers the possibility for multiple interpretations of the notion of landscape and its relationship with the viewer. The two videos highlight a deep feeling of disorientation, drawing the eye to the composition of nature and the meaning of a lost environment.
Giuseppe Lana was born in Catania in 1979 and currently lives and works in London. He studied Fine Arts at AA.BB of Catania (IT) where he graduated in 2006.
In his work there is a strong autobiographical element, anthropological and political.
Through the use of several media he aims to investigate issues such as aesthetics and identity.The main topic of his research is the focus on concepts such as time, data and memory.
