Esther Planas : V.O. Magazine ( a hauntological exercise on self publishing in Barcelona, Spain 1984)Planas published V.O. in Barcelona, inspired on a series of examples she found previously and around. One was Fernando Pessoa's literary magazine Orpheu, another was Picabia's 391, that was published in Barcelona in 1917 and lastly ZG, a magazine Planas discovered when she lived in London studying contemporary dance in 1982.
During the session, Planas will guide us on a ghostly trip to another past that would had made a different future.

‘With Spiralbound we’ve been holding events throughout the last year or so, launching new titles and also new editions of existing books. In time for each event our authors have the freedom to re-visit, edit and make a new edition of their book by adding or taking away image and text. As a result, a lot of the books we produce reveal successive drafts and stages of an author’s work in progress. This also allows the reader to collect and compare different versions of each book.’
