Five Years invites proposals for a two-part project (with publication) at Five Years that responds to the idea of reading and writing in groups.
Part 1. How to Write: Reading Groups.

- thinking of developing new work for publication.
- who reads and writes for pleasure. With others.
ALL proposals will be accepted. Submission is Free.

PART 2.
How to Read: Writing Groups.
2016 (dates to be announced)
Part 2 will continue the process of thinking about material and ideas created and discussed in Part 1.
Part 2 itself will be divided into two distinct components...
- 'Writing' for printed publication.
Material generated from Part 1 (discussion, illustration, documentation, actions, ideas, memory, etc) offers the possibility of forming a way of ‘writing’ itself. With others. That this ‘writing’ could be published, constitutes the demand of Part 2. How this could possibly be done is of course up to you.
The best part of a year will be left for this work, with each ‘writing’ presented as a chapter of a printed book, published by Five Years in 2016. Exact printing specifications, deadlines for printing and proofing will be confirmed in due course.
The book will form part of
Five Years Publications: Public Series
- 'Reading' the printed publication.
Launch.
A series of reading groups timetabled to allow further discussion of each chapter.
(at Five Years. Dates in 2016 to be confirmed)
Please note that participation in Part 2 is also free, but only applicable to those that have submitted proposals for Part 1.
